About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Location

Atlanta, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) | 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting during night shift hours
• Perform and manage wound care for assigned patients
• Administer and monitor epidurals and insulin drips
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure positive patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 18 months of Medical Surgical experience within the past 3 years
• Demonstrated experience with wound care management
• Experience with epidural management and insulin drip administration and monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced Med/Surg environment
• Experience working in a large academic or teaching hospital setting
