Position Summary The Center for Genetic Epidemiology within the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences at the University of Southern California invites applications for a full‑time clinical (non‑tenure track) assistant professor level position. The successful candidate is expected to bring or develop an externally funded research program in genetic or molecular epidemiology. Current areas of research activity include studies of genetic susceptibility, biomarkers, metabolomics and the microbiome as they relate to health disparities for common chronic diseases and phenotypes including cancer and metabolic diseases such as diabetes. Expertise in genomic analysis and in the initiation of population‑based resources for studies of the molecular and genetic basis of disease is desired. Qualifications Demonstrated publication and funding record in genetic population‑based research and molecular epidemiology commensurate with stage of career. Leadership experience within the field. Collegiality, resourcefulness, and motivation.
