Tapper / Machine Operator

A Tapper / Machine Operator to support high-volume production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with experience in metal fabrication, threading, or secondary operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate tapping machines and secondary equipment to produce threaded components to specification.
• Perform setups, tool changes, and minor machine adjustments as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers.
• Inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain production efficiency and throughput while minimizing scrap.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of tapping equipment.
• Follow all quality procedures, ISO standards, and safety guidelines.
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
• Support team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and quality personnel.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Tapper, Machine Operator, CNC Operator, or Production Technician.
• Strong understanding of metal parts, threading processes, and machining operations.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Experience working in an automotive or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to stand, lift, and work in a production setting.

Environment is hot. Can wear shorts/t-shirts. On feet for all shift. Safety glasses required.
