Sr. Automation Technician

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a global pharmaceutical manufacturer who is looking for an Automation Technician to join their team and help expand their state‑of‑the‑art production operations. This is a direct hire opportunity working 1st shift, 12 hour shifts. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and resolve issues with process control and automation systems Perform preventive and routine maintenance on control system equipment Assist with the installation, startup, and testing of new automation hardware Support system upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives Help maintain spare parts inventory for automation and control equipment Partner with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime Work with vendors and contractors to implement equipment improvements Follow GMP, safety, and quality standards in all maintenance activities Document maintenance activities and support change control processes Participate in training and continue developing technical knowledge of plant control systems Requirements Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering, Computer Technology, or a related technical field with 8+ years of industrial automation or process controls experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 12+ years of related experience Hands‑on experience supporting and maintaining automated manufacturing or process control systems Strong troubleshooting skills with automation hardware, control systems, and PLC programming Experience with one or more of the following technologies: PLCs; HMI, DCS, or SCADA systems; DeltaV Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, MES systems, PAS‑X a plus Willingness to work overtime or adjusted schedules when needed Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, beverage, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments is a plus Benefits Competitive pay plus annual bonus opportunity Medical, dental, and vision insurance beginning on day one Generous paid time off and company holidays 401(k) with company contributions Tuition assistance and career growth opportunities Paid parental and family leave Opportunity to work on innovative manufacturing projects that help improve patients’ lives worldwide #J-18808-Ljbffr Accentuate Staffing
