Drupal Business AnalystThe Drupal Business Analyst is an important member of the Global Commercial IT team and reports to the Sr. Manager/Tech Lead of the WebCMS group. Working in a dynamic, collaborative, agile team environment, the successful candidate will support the company's commercial expansion with new products, new markets, and new functions through business analysis and general Drupal support across the entire business entity.Specific functions of this role include business process definition (as-is vs. to-be), solution design, requirements specification (assisting the Project Managers/Product Owner write acceptance criteria for features and user stories), supervising User Acceptance Testing with the business, and some site building using the Drupal platform. This role will start with a focus on low-to-mid complexity enhancements to our Drupal websites, and will grow into more complex, project-oriented work over time.The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, organizational skills required to work on multiple initiatives at the same time, and the ability to comprehend business processes and suggest solutions in a business-friendly manner. They will also have demonstrated a desire to continue improving their Drupal and business analysis skills through certifications, external training modules, and/or on-the-job learning opportunities. This is a hands-on role playing an important position in the global growth of Insulet over the next several years.Responsibilities:Primarily responsible for solutions supporting Commercial IT functions such as Marketing (our primary stakeholder), Customer Care, Product Support, Field Sales, and general commercial operations through enhancements to the Omnipod.com and Insulet.com websites.Perform complex business and systems analysis work including requirements gathering, feature and user story creation via information gathering sessions with business users and technical staff.Develop supporting documentation such as process flows, mockups (working with our User Experience team), and system interface diagrams.Analyze existing website features to recommend improvements based on an understanding of Drupal and web development best practice.Communicate effectively with business users on the status of enhancements and open production support tickets.Develop comprehensive test plans, coordinate test activities, lead UAT exercises and/or help execute test components.Minimal travel will be required.Education and Experience:At least 2 years of experience working in a Drupal site builder position.Applicant is actively working with Drupal 8 or 9 in current position or has done so in a recent position.Ideally Acquia certification as Drupal 8 or 9 Site Builder. Additional certifications are a plus.Experience supporting or working with a Commercial organization, preferably in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or any other regulatory-controlled industry.Ideally some knowledge of Salesforce.com concepts and experience with SFDC.Bachelors in an IT-related discipline such as Computer Science or equivalent experience.Skills/Competencies:Self-sufficient, flexible, and motivated team player capable of managing several activities simultaneously.Ability to work in a deadline focused, dynamic environment, consistently producing deliverables within agreed upon timelines.Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiating skills are critical.Excellent writing skills.
