Collections Specialist

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Collections Specialist to join their team in Bethesda, MD. Responsibilities:
- Collections Specialist will contact customers regarding outstanding balances and past-due accounts
- Process payments, account adjustments, and collection activity
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
- As a Collections Specialist, you will maintain accurate collection notes and account records
- Assist with aging reports and other Accounts Receivable tasks as needed
- 3+ years of collections, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable making collection calls and sending follow-up correspondence
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Excel and accounting/ERP systems preferred
