Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (able to practice in NC)
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or progressive/step-down experience preferred
- Ability to work night shift schedule (18:45–07:15) for the full 13-week assignment
- Current BLS required; ACLS and other relevant certifications preferred
- Must be able to pass facility background checks and onboarding requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for progressive care patients, including assessments, monitoring, medication administration, and documentation
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating to providers and the interdisciplinary team as needed
- Perform treatments and interventions consistent with PCU scope of practice and unit protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic charting and complete handoffs to ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, therapists, and ancillary departments to support patient care and safe discharges
- Adhere to facility policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
