Location: SFO Bay Area Job Description We are looking for a motivated Junior AI Engineer to support the development and implementation of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, an understanding of machine learning concepts, and enthusiasm for building production-ready AI applications. Your Role Develop and test AI/ML and Generative AI solutions under guidance from senior engineers. Build Python-based applications, APIs, and AI integration components. Work with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases. Assist with data preparation, feature engineering, model evaluation, and testing. Integrate AI models/APIs into enterprise applications and workflows. Participate in code reviews, debugging, documentation, and deployment activities. Explore emerging AI technologies and contribute to rapid prototypes/PoCs. Your Skills And Experience Python and basic SQL proficiency. Fundamentals of Machine Learning, NLP, and Generative AI. Familiarity with LLMs and frameworks such as LangChain/LlamaIndex is preferred. Exposure to PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar ML frameworks. Basic understanding of REST APIs, Git, cloud platforms, and software engineering practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and learning abilities. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:48,400 - 96,800 Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
