GENERAL SUMMARY

This position is responsible for sorting and boxing Point-of-Purchase (POP) tags/signs, staging boxes of finished goods, and operating and maintaining cutting equipment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Sorts POP tags, ensuring that they are in the proper order by sign and store number. Makes sure that the product gets put into the proper store box and in sequential order.
• Strong attention to detail for quality assurance.
• Responsible for meeting minimum production standards including logging jobs into appropriate cost centers.
• Makes various sized POP boxes. 
• Assembles various digital production kits. 
• Boxes various large format printing projects. 
• Completes cutting orders of printed jobs by setting up and operating equipment to cut and trim printed material.
• Responsible for performing preventative maintenance on cutting equipment.
• Performs product handling responsibilities that include but are not limited to skidding cartons. C ommunicates with production team members to provide and receive feedback and updates on job and store status.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations required by OSHA/MIOSHA. 
• Performs other duties as requested.

• Ability to work on equipment for maintenance purposes and troubleshooting

• Basic quality assurance skills, preferred

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE REQUIRED

• Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training for reach truck use is preferred

EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED OR PREFERRED

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1-2 years of printing experience

• 2+ years of cutting experience is preferred

• Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification is preferred
