What You'll Do

  • Operate diagnostic fluoroscopy and advanced CT imaging equipment for cardiac and vascular procedures
  • Prepare and position patients safely and professionally for imaging procedures
  • Monitor patient vitals and assist physicians during procedures
  • Maintain accurate procedure documentation and ensure proper image archiving in PACS system
  • Perform routine equipment quality control and maintenance
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and reduce exposure for staff and patients
  • Support patient care in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

What You Need

  • Active ARRT registration and Louisiana Radiologic Technologist license
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiologic or cardiac imaging
  • Certification in BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with PACS systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts if necessary
