There is never a dull moment with us.Group/DivisionThe KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsSupply Chain ManagementDrive supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and service metrics to support high-mix, high-tech manufacturing environmentsExecute supply chain initiatives, including New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring material readiness and supplier alignmentSupport cost reduction and value engineering efforts to achieve total cost of ownership (TCO) targetsIdentify and implement improvements in quality, delivery performance, inventory optimization, and service levelsDevelop and maintain cost tracking models and support commodity strategies through data analysisAnalyze demand signals, market trends, and supplier capabilities to support sourcing and supply continuity decisionsBuild collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and responsivenessDevelop and maintain supplier scorecards; track KPIs and drive corrective actions where neededCoordinate supplier business reviews and monitor follow-through on performance improvement plansContracts & NegotiationsSupport execution and lifecycle management of supplier agreements, including SOWs, SLAs, and NDAsAssist with contract renewals and negotiations by providing cost analysis, benchmarking, and supplier performance insightsPartner with procurement and legal teams to ensure contracts meet operational and business requirementsPolicies, Procedures & ComplianceApply supply chain best practices to ensure efficient and scalable operationsEnsure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirementsSupport audit readiness and adherence to global trade and compliance standardsCommodity & Cross-Functional SupportContribute to commodity strategy execution through data analysis and supplier insightsSupport supplier selection and sourcing decisions by evaluating cost, capability, and risk factorsEnsure operational and service requirements are reflected in supplier agreements and execution plansCommunicate NPI timelines, material risks, and supply impacts to cross-functional stakeholdersSupport EOM (End of Manufacturing) transitions, minimizing disruption to supply continuityProblem Solving & EscalationAct as a primary point of contact for day-to-day supply issues, including shortages, expedites, and urgent customer requirementsResolve short-term supply constraints through supplier coordination and internal alignmentPartner with engineering, quality, and service teams to address long-term supply risks, including EOL, obsolescence, and capacity constraintsUtilize data analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrenceCross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate closely with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Field Service, Logistics, and Trade Compliance teamsAlign supply chain execution with production schedules, service requirements, and business prioritiesSupport continuous improvement initiatives across the end-to-end supply chainPreferred Qualifications5+ years of Supply Chain and/or Materials Management experience in a manufacturing or technology-driven environmentExperience in supply planning, procurement processes (POs, supplier management, lead time optimization), and inventory managementStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions (Excel, pivot tables required)Working knowledge of ERP and e-Procurement systems (SAP and Ariba preferred)Experience supporting NPI, service parts planning, and production environmentsAbility to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, identify gaps, and implement process improvementsStrong communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionallyAPICS and/or ISM/CPSM certification preferredMinimum QualificationsMinimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 3 years and master’s degree; or equivalent work experienceBase Pay Range: $115,600.00 - $196,500.00 AnnuallyPrimary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLAKLA’s total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities and programs, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits including an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.Interns are eligible for some of the benefits listed.
