Experience: At least 2 years as a Registered Nurse, ICU experience, EPIC documentation familiarity
Travel & Reimbursements: Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable

Pay & Benefits:

Hourly Pay Rate: $54.31/hr

What You'll Do:

Provide expert nursing care to ICU patients, respecting privacy and adapting communication to patient needs
Use the nursing process effectively to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments
Lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes
Utilize data to evaluate and improve care delivery
Maintain safety and infection control protocols, managing exposure to biohazardous materials
Document patient information accurately using essential electronic health record systems like EPIC
Adapt behaviors to diverse patient populations and maintain professional standards

What You Need:

Required:
- Current RN license in Louisiana
- BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- NIH Certification (preferred)
- 2+ years of ICU nursing experience with EPIC documentation skills
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with healthcare software and web applications
