Production Team Member

The Production Team Member is a valuable part of our production team, packaging the industry’s finest coffee. Their performance is critical in ensuring production quotas are met in a timely fashion while first observing the highest standards of safety and quality. Schedule: This position works 1st Shift, Monday–Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm What You Will Do: * Work cooperatively with the production team to ensure workplace safety and product quality while meeting production goals * Complete packaging tasks such as case filling, box assembly, and pallet stacking * Comply with all written Workplace Safety rules and other safety requirements and standards consistently * Comply with all written food safety Good Manufacturing Practices and other requirements and standards consistently

• Report all safety and quality concerns to Leadership
• Work on a packaging line with consistent speed and accuracy
• Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without

compromising quality * Perform assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks to ensure a clean and safe work area * Perform assigned material management tasks to ensure an efficient, organized, and safe work area

• Use tools and equipment correctly and maintain them with care
• Willingness to comply with all safety rules
• Report any tool and equipment issues to Leadership
• Follow all written and verbal instructions
• Attend all safety and production meetings and trainings
• Demonstrate ability to perform tasks using computer applications
• Demonstrate ability to perform production quality monitoring and reporting

Qualifications: Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in an industrial production facility
• Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Basic computer skills

Preferred:

• At least 1 year of coffee industry experience is strongly desired
• At least 1 year of food manufacturing experience is strongly desired

Physical Demands: The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking in addition to the following: * Able condition to work 8 hour shifts while standing, lifting, bending, and reaching

• Must be able to work on your feet over 9 straight hours
• Able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive and lift up to 30 lbs. on

a regular basis

• Must be able to lift 80 pounds 20% of the shift
• Must be able to endure constant leaning and bending during shift
• Must be able to handle/move up to 750 pound bins on casters

The target hourly range for this position is $17-$18 per hour. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
