Job Title

Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU / Stepdown)

Location

Greenville, NC | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring an intermediate level of care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and changes in patient condition

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – North Carolina or Compact State license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Candidates with fewer than 2 years of RN experience must have prior travel nursing experience
• Must reside at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or IMC setting
• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
