Accounting Clerk

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounting Clerk in Tampa, FL.Key Tasks:

• Perform data entry for vendor invoices and customer billing
• Assist with account maintenance and administrative tracking as needed
• Review and verify employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies
• Support special projects and ad hoc assignments
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies

Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Accounting knowledge preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making
• Professional communication skills and strong phone/email etiquette
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• General knowledge of office procedures and equipment
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, multi-location environment
• High level of integrity and professionalism

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
