Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the complete life cycle of highly complex projects including planning, execution, and closeout to ensure planned results are achieved on time. Develops budgets, timelines, and ensures progress to plan, as well as tracking critical project achievements. Works with outside vendors and internal teams to establish and achieve goals. Ensure the effective and economical use of business resources, and to support the financial requirements of the operation at the Data Center facilities. Works to make sure proper operating procedures maintain the integrity and availability at the data center through drafting and updating documents, testing and compliance audits.

This position reports to the Senior Vice President.

Essential Job Functions

1. Develop and lead.
2. Data Center Design
3. Mechanical
4. Electrical projects
5. Provide Management status of all active Data Center projects and Key Performance indicators.
6. Lead internal resources and vendors in the execution of Data Center deployments and builds.
7. Responsible for Data Center annual certifications and compliance as assigned.
8. Draft and optimize various Standard Operating Procedures for Data Center.
9. Responsible for facility service delivery to Colocation customers.
10. Accountable for infrastructure systems uptime.
11. Evaluates and makes recommendations on Data Center equipment and processes.
12. Offers recommendations for increased reliability of all systems.

Qualifications

Education:

1. PMP certification is preferred.

Experience:

1. Experience with large scale data center projects.
2. Experience operating large data centers mechanical and electrical systems.
3. Broad experience of IT and Technical project delivery - must be familiar with

9. Five years project management experience.

Skills and Abilities

1. Ability to create project budgets and resource plans is required.
2. Good communication skills in dealing with employees and vendors.
3. Strong IT user skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project.
4. Must be capable to work on multiple projects at all times.
5. Some travel.
