Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Triage patients and serve as the baby catcher and transition nurse
• Monitor and titrate Pitocin drips to support safe labor progression
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure excellent outcomes for every family
• Support a rural hospital environment where your skills truly make a difference

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
• BLS, ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Trained in LDRP and comfortable functioning as baby catcher/transition nurse

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong LDRP and triage skills
• Ability to work independently in a rural setting
• Comfortable reading fetal monitoring strips
• Team player who can occasionally float to med-surg when needed
