About the Role

As our  Health Care Business Development & Marketing Consultant , you'll lead business development across the region by developing new referral relationships, securing facility contracts, and increasing home care accounts. This role combines community outreach, field visits, and light digital marketing. You’ll work independently while being equipped with agency support and performance incentives.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and target new referral sources across hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, rehabilitation centers, geriatric care managers, elder law attorneys, and physician practices
• Conduct consistent in-person visits and meetings with referral sources to introduce Victory's services and build active referral relationships
• Develop and manage a referral partner pipeline with a goal of converting contacts into consistent account referrals
• Follow up on all inbound referrals and leads within 24 hours and move them through the intake process to active client status
• Conduct family consultations and close client service agreements
• Negotiate and secure facility referral agreements with assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centers
• Maintain a target of new client accounts per month
• Identify new market opportunities, untapped referral sources, and geographic areas for expansion within the service region
• Track all activity, referral source contacts, prospect status, and closed accounts in CRM within 24 hours of each interaction
• Create and distribute branded marketing materials including flyers, brochures, and digital content to referral partners, community organizations, and prospective clients in a HIPAA compliant manner
• Manage and maintain Victory's online presence including social media platforms with consistent weekly posts, service updates, and timely responses to reviews and inquiries

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing experience in home care, hospice, skilled nursing, assisted living, or a related healthcare setting
• Experience with  home health care, hospice, skilled nursing, or healthcare staffing   required
• Established referral relationships in the MD/DC/VA healthcare market strongly preferred
• Proven track record of building referral pipelines and converting leads to clients
• Comfortable conducting in-person meetings with hospital case managers, facility directors, physicians, and families
• Excellent communicator in person, by phone, and in writing
• Self-motivated and capable of managing a full weekly schedule independently
• Valid Maryland driver's license and reliable vehicle required
• Working knowledge of HIPAA requirements in a sales and marketing context
