Church Engagement Coordinator

Church Engagement – Virginia Beach, VA

Operation Blessing (OB) is seeking a highly organized Church Engagement Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support for the areas of Church and Volunteer Engagement, Global Disaster Response, and Major Donor activities through effective coordination of CRM administration, reporting, scheduling, communications, event logistics, documentation, and other ministry-related processes. Serving in this position facilitates ministry activities and contributes to OB’s Biblical mission to extend a helping hand in Christ’s name to meet physical and spiritual needs.

The salary range for this position is $44,000-$46,000 annually. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on a combination of education, relevant experience, and demonstrated skills aligned with the role requirements.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, reporting, and document preparation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with churches, volunteers, donors, and internal staff
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects, events, and administrative activities while consistently meeting deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to analyze information, solve problems, and exercise sound judgment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and other business software applications, with strong working knowledge of Excel
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to establish professional rapport with all levels of management, staff, and public
• Flexible with ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced ministry environment
• Position is based in the Virginia Beach office and requires regular on-site attendance
• Ability to work occasional evenings and local off-site events, as needed
• Demonstrated life application of Biblical principles and practices in alignment with OB’s non-profit Christian mission
