Business Consultant PMO

Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)Support the PMO in tracking and monitoring the status of ongoing projects, ensuring timely updates are captured in project trackers and reporting tools.Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project plans, timelines, status reports, and executive presentations using MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Coordinate and schedule project meetings, prepare agendas, capture meeting minutes, and follow up on action items with relevant stakeholders.Maintain accurate project data using project management tools; ensure data integrity across all project documentation and dashboards.Liaise with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and other functions to gather project updates and flag any risks or blockers.Support the onboarding of new projects into the PMO framework by ensuring documentation standards and intake processes are followed.Assist in preparing reports and decks for senior leadership, summarizing project health, milestones, and key deliverables.Participate in ad hoc PMO initiatives as required, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities.Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required for this job with minimum years of experience on each)0-1 year of experience in a corporate environment, whether through full-time employment or internship experience.Proficiency in MS Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, WordFamiliarity with project tracking tools or applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus; experience with tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, or similar PM platforms preferred.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion when handling sensitive business information.Travel: This position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina in Hybrid Mode.Degree: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Project Management, or a related field of study.Nice to Have; (But not a must)Prior exposure to PMO methodologies or project management frameworksExperience supporting corporate functions such as Operations, PMO, Employee Relations.Posting Date:Department:CONS: Life Sciences - 1074310015
