Outside Sales Rep

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a newly launched delivery program. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting local businesses to join a delivery partner program. You will collaborate with a Field Manager and other local contractors to visit potential businesses, present the program opportunity, qualify businesses, guide them through the application process, drive referrals through community organizations, and coordinate recruitment events. The role involves travel up to two hours driving distance and offers commission for each partner converted.

Responsibilities

• Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within a two-hour driving distance.
• Present and pitch the program opportunity to generate interest and applications from businesses.
• Qualify prospective businesses and guide them through the application process while managing the pipeline in Salesforce.
• Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch and learns and townhall meetings.
• Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage with local influencers like chambers of commerce and economic development associations.
• Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
• Outside/Field Sales experience is required.
• CRM experience is required, with a preference for Salesforce.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 4 hours round trip daily.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Field sales experience is a plus.
• Prior experience in sales and/or negotiation roles is a plus.
• Professionalism and enthusiasm to work with others.
• A high sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills for field applicants.
• Tech-savvy with experience using multiple systems and technologies.

Work Environment

The role requires working 5 days a week in the field with an 80/20 split between fieldwork and home-based follow-up/admin tasks. Positions are available in or near Medford, OR, Tillamook or Lincoln City, OR, and Redmond, OR (consider Bend, OR as well). Benefits include eligibility for 2 weeks of PTO after a successful 6-month performance review, uncapped commission, a $50/month phone bill expense, and mileage reimbursement at .725 cents per mile.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
