Connect Pediatrics is looking for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Pleasant Grove/East Dallas, Texas area. As a part of our team, you will play a vital role in collaboratively ensuring that pediatric patients receive comprehensive and well-coordinated care in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities :
- Perform comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients' needs for therapy.
- Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders.
- Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a ride range of diagnoses.
- Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient
- Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
- Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.

- Current BLS/CPR License
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automotive insurance
- Pediatric experience is preferred but not required
