Job Title Diagnostic Medical Sonographer – New York, NY Job Overview We are seeking a qualified Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team in New York City. The successful candidate will perform a range of ultrasound examinations, contribute to daily operational management of the sonography department, and maintain high standards of patient care and imaging quality. Key Responsibilities Perform gynecologic, obstetric, and other diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. Maintain and operate sonography equipment, including calibration, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance. Manage daily operations of the sonography practice in collaboration with supervising physicians, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with clinical protocols. Provide patient education and support, ensuring a positive and comfortable patient experience. Document and report findings accurately in electronic medical records. Qualifications Valid California or New York State sonographer license or eligibility to obtain one within one year. Minimum 2 years of experience performing ultrasound examinations in a clinical setting. Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and electronic medical record systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
