You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Navy ERP Business Office at the NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND.

Duties

Help

• You will participate in and lead team efforts to represent and advocate for the operational requirements of the NAVAIR Finance community to optimize the services provided by Navy ERP.
• You will perform business analyses and planning in collaboration with users to facilitate integration of new Navy ERP releases and software enhancements into the Navy ERP Financial Module.
• You will participate with other NBO functional team leads and the Finance Team Lead in continuing/comprehensive assessment of NAVAIR's utilization of Navy ERP assets.
• You will maintain close and continuing contact with user community representatives to actively solicit feedback on the operational utility of existing Navy ERP capabilities.
• You will lead team members in the selection and application of appropriate problem-solving methods and techniques.
• You will provide advice on work methods, practices and procedures; and assists the team and/or individual team members in identifying the parameters of viable solutions to highly complex challenges.
• You will report to the team on progress in meeting established milestones and deadlines for completion of assignments, projects and tasks.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Functional Area and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established timeframes.
• This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/NH-02 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Expert-level knowledge of Navy ERP financial modules to manage business processes, ensure system integrity, and optimize financial workflows within a DoD environment; 2) Mastery of the concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of budget, accounting, and finance and their relation to systemic solutions, business execution, and audit readiness; 3) Expertise in conducting complex analysis of financial execution data, identifying the root cause of systemic variances, and implementing corrective actions to ensure accurate reporting and data integrity; 4) Expert-level advisory services to senior leadership on complex financial matters, influencing decision-making through the interpretation of data and policy guidance.
