We are seeking a Database Administrator -
Location: Seattle, WA (Local candidates only - valid ID proof required)
Experience: Minimum #11-15 years
We are seeking a Database Administrator with strong expertise in:
AWS Services: S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Kinesis, RDS, Redshift
* Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Amazon Redshift
* MongoDB: Replica sets, sharding, indexing, backups
* Redshift: Cluster management, query tuning, WLM, snapshots
* PostgreSQL: Replication, performance tuning, connection pooling
* Monitoring Tools: CloudWatch, pgBadger, MongoDB Atlas
Nice to Have:
* Kafka or Kinesis (streaming data)
* dbt for data transformation
* Data lake/lakehouse architectures (Delta Lake, AWS Lake Formation)
* Terraform or CloudFormation
* CI/CD for data pipelines
* Basic DevOps skills
