HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST

Human Resource Generalist Location: 1515 East 4th Street, Little Rock, AR 72202. Job Type: Full Time, Professional, Exempt. Travel Required: Operations in Hot Springs, Newport, and Pine Bluff, AR. As a Human Resource Generalist, you will serve as a trusted partner to employees and managers, supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle while fostering a positive, accountable, and engaging workplace culture. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Hiring Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees. Partner with each division's General Manager to understand staffing needs and build talent pipelines. Ensure a positive candidate and new hire experience. Employee Accountability & Management Support Partner with Management to uphold accountability across all roles. Provide coaching and guidance to managers to ensure clear communication of job responsibilities and performance expectations. Address performance gaps, attendance issues, and facilitate individual development plans. Benefits & Employee Support Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and annual open enrollment. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits, leave, and HR policies. Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data. Culture and Employee Engagement Champion O’Connor Distributing Core Values through employee engagement, recognition, and communication initiatives. Help foster an environment where employees feel respected, supported, and accountable. HR Policy and Compliance Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals. Oversee the employee handbook and facilitate reviews with all employees. Manage ADP system, with accuracy and confidentiality. Assist with audits and compliance reporting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM‑CP, PHR, or SHHR preferred or willingness to obtain a professional certification is a plus. 3‑5 years of progressive HR experience. Expertise in recruitment, employee relations, and HR policy development. Strong understanding of employment laws and best practices. Demonstrated success recruiting hourly, sales, warehouse, and professional positions in a fast‑paced environment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze HR metrics.
