About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Charleston, South Carolina, 29425!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiothoracic Operating Room (CVOR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:00 - 18:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: SC or Multi-state RN license must be active at the start of the contract Certifications: BLS, ACLS must be from AHA Must-Have: Must be able to circulate complex cardiac and thoracic cases Description: The role requires working in a Cardiothoracic Operating Room. You will be scheduled for three 12-hour shifts. On-call requirements include 5-8 calls per month, including weekends. Holiday call may be needed. Candidates should have experience circulating complex cardiac and thoracic cases. This includes adult heart and lung transplants, Type A dissections, CABGs, valves, TAVRs, and more. Experience is needed with cases such as CABG, TAVR, LVAD, Impella, and heart and lung transplants. First-time travelers will only be considered if they have 5 or more years of experience. A radiation badge is required and will be provided. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application. The facility can cancel one shift per traveler's pay period. During hurricane season, employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Candidates must complete all labs within the specified timeframe if applicable. Modules must be completed prior to the start date and are included in non-billable hours.
