Job titlePricing ManagerReports toDirector of PricingClassificationExemptScheduleMonday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM / 40 hours a weekSummary/ObjectiveThe Pricing Manager supports the Director of Pricing by managing assigned pricing activities, maintaining pricing policies and procedures, and ensuring accurate customer and product pricing data. This role partners with leadership and sales teams to support effective pricing decisions, improve margin performance, and help maximize revenue and profitability. The Pricing Manager also ensures pricing information is accurate, optimized, and aligned with business objectives to support quote decision-making and sales execution.Essential FunctionsDevelop, implement, and manage pricing strategies across territories and customer segments to support competitiveness, customer value, and profitabilityMaintain accurate, up-to-date customer sell pricing in the ERP system and related databasesPartner with branch leadership and sales teams to identify and implement margin expansion opportunitiesOversee pricing execution to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systemsProactively identify and resolve pricing and margin issuesCollaborate with rebate and cost management teams to pursue profitability improvement opportunitiesEvaluate customer segmentation and buying behavior to recommend appropriate reclassificationsReview and approve non-standard pricing requests in alignment with pricing guidelines and profitability goalsLead pricing process improvements from identification through successful implementationManage and perform routine branch price reviews to identify trends, gaps, and corrective actionsProvide formal and informal training on pricing, margin management, and related processes to applicable personnelMonitor price overrides and take corrective action as needed to support pricing discipline and margin objectivesCompetenciesStrong experience in pricing management, pricing analysis, and optimizationStrong leadership skills with the ability to train, coach, and support others professionallyStrong communication and analytical skills, with a focus on maintaining accurate customer pricingStrategic thinker with strong business analysis skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AccessDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, organize responsibilities, and meet deadlinesElectrical product knowledge preferredWorking ConditionsWork EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
