AV Field Service Technician

Salary: $65,000 - 80,000/year

We are seeking a skilled and customer-centric AV Field Service Technicia n to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with commercial AV systems for our enterprise clients. In this role, you will be the face of our technical support, ensuring high system uptime, conducting preventative maintenance, and delivering a superior level of client service

Responsibiliti

• esSystem Diagnostic s: Troubleshoot, verify, and document commercial AV system performance using a wide range of specialized test equipmen
• t.Issue Resolutio n: Efficiently resolve hardware and software issues related to coax, ethernet, and fiber optic cablin
• g.Preventative Maintenanc e: Conduct routine PM visits to ensure client AV systems and conference rooms are operating at optimum level
• s.Inventory & Tool s: Maintain personal toolkit and manage material/parts inventories for service call
• s.Client Suppor t: Provide a superior level of face-to-face support during maintenance and repair visits to foster long-term loyalt
• y.Clear Articulatio n: Clearly communicate troubleshooting actions, next steps, and resolutions to the client before leaving the sit
• e.Vendor Liaiso n: Coordinate complex resolutions with internal Engineering teams and manufacturer
• s.RMA Managemen t: Work with manufacturers to secure return authorizations (RMAs) and parts replacements for open service ticket
• s.Documentatio n: Accurately track all travel time, labor, and service notes within the company ticketing syste
