Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a 35-hour, four-day workweek with a rotating schedule (Tues/Wed weekly, select Thurs/Fri, and one admin Monday as scheduled). How You’ll Make An Impact Creating Exceptional First Impressions – Welcome new patients with warmth and enthusiasm, setting the tone for their orthodontic journey. Patient Appointment Scheduling – managing appointments for new and returning patients utilizing the appropriate scheduling templates. Patient Appointment Status – Confirm that appointment reminders are being sent out, follow-up with unconfirmed appointments, and reschedule no-shows. Practice Growth – Ensure that the schedule accounts for the appropriate amount of doctor time, filling openings as necessary and discussing any major changes with the clinical team. Professional Communication – Generate correspondence for referring dentists and maintain detailed patient records. Insurance Verifications - Verifying the patient’s health insurance benefits prior to patient arriving for exam, entering insurance data in Practice Management System, processing insurance payments and refunds, submitting documentation to insurance companies and/or Clearing House. Accounts Receivable/Collections - Following up on non-paid insurance claims, managing late payments and overdue accounts, manage and follow up with all AR accounts by following up with delinquent accounts, renegotiate financial agreements as needed to maximize collections. The Teammate We’re Looking For Dental or orthodontic office experience preferred. Experience working in an orthodontic or general dental clinic is an asset. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; proficiency with orthodontic management software systems is an asset. Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to build strong relationships and rapport with patients, parents, doctors, fellow team members and the community. Keen attention-to-detail and time management skills.
