Royal Palm Beach Medical Group is pleased to offer you the full-time position of Medical Assistant at our Deltona, Florida office. This role is designed to focus primarily on direct clinical support in a predictable daytime practice environment.

Reports To | Family Nurse Practitioner / Medical Director / Practice Manager

Compensation and Review

Your starting rate will be $19.50 per hour, paid in accordance with the practice's regular payroll schedule and subject to applicable deductions and withholdings. Overtime must be approved in advance and will be paid as required by applicable law.

A formal performance and compensation review will be conducted after approximately six months of employment. Based on performance, responsibilities, and practice needs, your hourly rate may be considered for an increase up to $19.75 per hour. Any increase is discretionary and is not guaranteed.

You will also be eligible for a discretionary quarterly performance bonus of up to $300, based on documented individual and team goals established by the practice. Bonus eligibility and payment are subject to the applicable bonus plan and active employment on the payment date.

Schedule and Work Environment

The position is expected to follow a predictable daytime schedule, generally Monday through Friday. The specific days and hours will be confirmed based on patient-access and office-coverage needs.

Clinical and Administrative Support
A Virtual Medical Assistant will handle routine phone calls, scheduling and rescheduling, prior authorizations, faxes, and related administrative tasks. This structure allows the on-site Medical Assistants to remain focused on clinical workflow.

Primary Responsibilities

Room patients; obtain and document vital signs, histories, and medication reconciliation,Prepare charts, exam rooms, supplies, and patients for provider visits and procedures, Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, specimen collection and processing, and injections within training, permitted scope, and practice policy. Assist the Family Nurse Practitioner or physician with minor procedures. Maintain clinical supplies, medication or sample inventory, and clean, stocked exam rooms. Support preventive-care workflows, care-gap completion, and timely patient flow. Follow infection-control, safety, privacy, and documentation requirements. Provide limited front-office or checkout coverage when operationally necessary. Perform other reasonable duties consistent with the Medical Assistant role

Paid Vacation and Professional Support

You will receive one week (40 hours) of paid vacation annually, administered in accordance with practice policy and scheduled in advance based on office coverage. Royal Palm Beach Medical Group will also provide or reimburse approved role-related expenses for:
A scrub allowance of up to $250 per year for approved purchases

Health Insurance
Royal Palm Beach Medical Group does not currently provide employer-sponsored health insurance for this position.
