Opportunity Details: 

Reporting to the Chair of Rehabilitation Medicine, this role is responsible for the clinical oversight of the outpatient rehabilitation division, delivering comprehensive patient care, and playing a key role in the residency program. This is an outpatient position (Monday-Friday) with no inpatient responsibilities, except for call coverage as listed below.

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the outpatient Rehabilitation Medicine division.
• Develop and expand outpatient rehabilitation services, including clinical program growth by identifying opportunities to enhance access, increase patient volume, develop specialized rehabilitation programs, and strengthen referral relationships across the hospital and community.
• Support the growth of the outpatient Interventional Pain Program through close collaboration with Orthopedic Surgery and Anesthesiology.
• Maintain an active clinical practice, delivering patient-centered care while staying current with advances and emerging innovations in the field.
• Lead and support the residency program, including resident education, supervision, and clinical training.
• Provide and teach advanced procedures, including EMG/NCS, joint injections, ultrasound-guided and chemo denervation procedures.
• Inpatient call coverage of approximately 1 weekend per month and 3-4 holidays per year.
• EMG/NCS experience preferred, or ability to become proficient.

Qualifications

• Valid license to practice in New York State
• Board Certification issued by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Five years of full-time licensed experience as a physician 

Wages and Benefits include: 

Annual Base Salary: $251,000*, based on 40-hour work week. 

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $316,100** , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution and other factors as set forth below:

• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets. 
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): 
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. 
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement. 
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days. 
• Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
