Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified individual for a Labor and Delivery role during night shifts. The position requires a commitment to providing high-quality obstetric care to patients, with a focus on labor and delivery services.

Shift Details

Shift Type: Night 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
Certifications required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- AWHONN (Advanced and Intermediate)
- California Nursing License (CA LIC)
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (C-EFM)
Experience with patient ratios in labor and delivery settings preferred.
Prior charge experience is a plus.

Unit Details

Facility Births per Month:
- 100 - 200
- 200 - 300
Competence in handling high-risk antepartum patients and various delivery situations is essential.
Experience in LDRP, Level I Nursery, and Mother/Baby care is preferable.

Additional Information

Charting System: Paragon (Training provided)
Courses required within 30 days of start date:
- Assaultive Behavior Course ($80 fee)
- Fire Card Course ($50 fee)

Compliance and Orientation

All candidates must comply with floating policies within the facility, ensuring appropriate orientation to new units.
Floating may occur to assist with staffing in various departments, ensuring coverage in high-demand areas.
