Social Worker

Position Summary Career Team, LLC is a workforce development organization looking to hire a Social Worker for the Employment and Training Services team. The role provides one‑on‑one and group interventions to support participants’ mental, social, physical, emotional, and behavioral health needs. The position is 100% onsite. Responsibilities Meet every participant for a 1‑on‑1 introductory session within 14 days of enrollment. Respond within 24 hours to participants’ requests for service. Provide individual and group counseling sessions and supports. Make referrals and appropriate linkages, and submit required reports. Partner with case managers to provide wrap‑around services and support participants in achieving individual success plans. Provide education/training to other staff. Maintain accurate records of all case‑management interactions. Report critical incidents to authorities, supervisors, and contract managers. Prepare and present reports of activities and accomplishments. Approach each day and task with a "ZAG" mindset and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Mental licensed professional counselor or licensed clinical social worker with a Master’s Degree from an accredited university. Certified drug and alcohol counselor, Level II or III, with a bachelor’s degree (preferred). Knowledge of EARN, TANF, or similar services (preferred). Multilingual or bilingual (preferred). Training in trauma‑informed care, harm reduction, de‑escalation techniques, and vicarious trauma. Excellent communication and computer skills. Knowledge of the local region and relevant partners. Ability to multitask, be proactive, and facilitate or supervise groups (preferred). Experience with homelessness issues for families, children, veterans. Experience in care coordination work. Strong verbal and written communication skills, detail‑oriented record‑keeping, computer skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with appropriate boundaries and authority. Ability to hear and process critical feedback and provide it to others. Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on commitments. Flexibility, creativity, positive attitude, good humor. Valid driver’s license. Compensation and Benefits Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 annually. 401(k) with generous employer match.
