Step into an essential role supporting elementary students in a Special Education classroom setting! This contract position is ideal for educators with a passion for helping children succeed in their academic journeys, especially those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The assignment is full-time, following the academic calendar with working hours from 8:15 a.m. to 3:25 p.m., Monday through Friday. You'll be based at one location—fostering meaningful relationships and continuity with your colleagues and students.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Colorado Department of Education certification (CO DOE Cert) is required.
• Demonstrated experience working within school special education settings.
• Prior background supporting students on the autism spectrum is highly preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnering with school staff and families.
• Commitment to completing all required background checks promptly after offer acceptance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to elementary-aged students in a dedicated Special Education classroom.
• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans, adapting curriculum to meet diverse learning needs.
• Track student progress, monitor IEP goals, and provide data-driven feedback to the educational team and families.
• Engage in team meetings, participating actively in discussions around student achievement and support strategies.
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment to encourage student growth.
