Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Teacher License with Special Education Generalist Endorsement (ages 5-21)
• Experience in Special Education classrooms and familiarity with affective needs populations preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, staff, and families
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address individual student needs
• Excellent organizational and adaptive problem-solving skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Instruct and support elementary-aged students with affective needs in both individual and small group settings
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each child’s learning and behavioral goals
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment conducive to student growth
• Work closely with families, counselors, and other educational professionals to foster student success
• Maintain required documentation and complete all time-sensitive district credentialing and compliance paperwork
