Family Medicine Physician Job Requirements

• Board certification in Family Medicine required
• Active Michigan medical license required at the time of presentation
• At least 1 year of Family Medicine experience required
• Experience caring for patients from newborn through geriatric age groups
• Comfortable with adult outpatient care, pediatric general outpatient care, and women's health visits
• Ability to perform pelvic exams and Pap smears
• Ability to interpret EKGs
• NPDB self-query completed within the last month required at presentation
• Must be local to Michigan

Family Medicine Physician Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality primary care coverage in a busy outpatient family medicine setting
• See approximately 20 patients per day while maintaining excellent patient communication and efficiency
• Deliver comprehensive care to patients across the lifespan, from newborn through geriatric age groups
• Perform routine outpatient procedures, including pelvic exams and Pap smears, as part of women's health services
• Interpret EKGs and address common primary care needs in a timely manner
• Collaborate with clinical support staff to ensure smooth patient flow and an excellent care experience
• Document care accurately and efficiently in Cerner
