Registered Nurse Operating Room

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience. Candidates should be comfortable circulating and recovering patients in a surgical setting. Responsibilities include assisting with various surgical procedures such as appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and hernia repairs. A strong understanding of general operating room protocols and patient safety is essential. The role requires participation in on-call rotations. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, including potential weekend and holiday work. Interdisciplinary support within the unit will include respiratory services and pharmacy. Candidates should be prepared to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Effective communication and teamwork skills are critical for success in this position. References covering one year of experience within the last three years are required. The job involves working with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
