POSITION SUMMARY:

In this role, you will employ the nursing process to deliver exceptional direct and indirect patient-centered care. You will coordinate patient care by collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team. It is essential to communicate the patient's clinical status appropriately, responding swiftly and accurately to any changes in condition or treatment response. You will demonstrate an understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan, ensuring age-appropriate care for the diverse patient population we serve. Additionally, you will advocate for the nursing profession and foster professional practice through supportive interactions with colleagues. This position reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and hold a current nursing license in the State of Connecticut.

• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required upon hire or must be obtained during the introductory orientation period, with ongoing clinical competency maintained throughout employment in this role.

COMPETENCIES:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.

• Basic computer proficiency is required.
