Job TitleJob DescriptionBenefits401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible schedulePaid time offTuition assistanceVision insuranceJob ResponsibilitiesFabrication & Repair: Construct, alter, and repair a wide variety of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to very close tolerances.Machine Operation: Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, and grinders to machine parts.Blueprint Analysis: Study specifications, engineering blueprints, and tool orders to plan work.Design & Layout: Draw preliminary sketches; prepare layout and detail drawings.Strategy Development: Develop efficient strategies for fabricating designed dies using the most suitable machining resources.Quality & Safety: Meet all quality and efficiency expectations while complying with safety regulations and maintaining a clean, orderly work area.Skills, Knowledge, and Experience RequiredEducation: Minimum 4 years of high school/vocational school; completion of an apprentice program is a plus.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a tool and die environment.Language: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.Technical Skills: Ability to interpret engineering specifications, including operative sheets, drawings, and sketches.Mathematical Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to use shop mathematics, including geometric and trigonometric formulas.Precision: Experience working with close dimensional tolerances and using all types of precision measuring instruments.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.What We Offer (Benefits Package)Competitive Hourly PayComprehensive Medical/Rx Insurance401(K) Retirement PlanPaid Time Off (PTO), Sick Leave, and Paid HolidaysVacation TimeTuition AssistanceCompensation: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
