Responsibilities Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards. Posting entries, verifying and reconciling input to financial reporting systems. Performing balance sheet and P&L reconciliations. Research and resolve financial statement discrepancies, with supervision, by working with other departments. Participates in accounting practices of classifying and recording financial data. Maintains existing charts of accounts. Follows regulations for entering and reporting the financial content in major accounting systems. Financial Record Keeping: Knowledge of financial record keeping processes, methods, and tools; ability to maintain accurate and thorough records of financial transactions. Level Basic Understanding: Lists the reports used by the organization that depend on accurate financial records. Describes the purpose and value of accurate financial record keeping. Additional Information: This position requires incumbents to be onsite in the Nashville main office 5 days per week.
