Job Duties

• Craft Tailored Intervention Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies to guide them in reaching their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and self-care tasks
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in tandem with other OTs, PTs, SLPs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, integrated care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their caregivers on therapy practices to support ongoing recovery at home
• Document and Track Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, adjusting treatment plans when necessary to ensure effective progress

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional certifications is encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR) license
• NBCOT certification required
