Position : Business Support Representative

Location : Knoxville, TN (HYBRID)

Summary :

• As a Business Support Representative, you'll collaborate with project leaders, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to keep projects running efficiently while gaining valuable exposure to project management and business operations
• This role is critical to ensuring projects run efficiently by coordinating schedules, managing project documentation, tracking action items, and facilitating communication among stakeholders
• The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while supporting project teams from initiation through completion
• Experience in the Utilities, Energy, Construction, or Government sectors is a plus

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, calendar management, agenda preparation, meeting logistics, and follow-up action tracking
• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, records, deliverables, and status reports
• Assist project managers and team members with day-to-day operational and administrative activities
• Track project tasks, milestones, and deadlines, helping ensure progress remains aligned with project objectives
• Prepare presentations, reports, meeting materials, and executive-ready communications
• Serve as a central point of contact for project-related communications, ensuring timely distribution of information to internal and external stakeholders
• Support collaboration across project teams using Microsoft and enterprise collaboration tools
• Identify and proactively address administrative or coordination issues that may impact project execution

Qualifications :

• 2+ years of experience in an administrative, project support, project coordination, or business support role
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Microsoft Copilot
• Experience using collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and SAP Concur
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience supporting project teams, PMOs, IT initiatives, or business operations functions
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and project lifecycle processes
• Experience within the Utilities, Energy, Construction, or Government industries
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, or a related field
