Assistant Manager

Role Overview The Assistant Service Center Manager supports the Service Center Manager in leading a high-performance team to deliver exceptional customer service at an automotive service location. Responsibilities include performing oil changes and vehicle maintenance, supervising daily operations, training and advising team members, and ensuring adherence to policies and safety protocols. Key duties involve building customer loyalty, managing employee schedules, assisting with inventory, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Qualifications and Skills Candidates should have at least 1 year of supervisory experience, preferably in retail or service environments, with strong customer service skills and the ability to work under pressure. Experience using KPI data for performance monitoring and flexibility for scheduling, including weekends, is required. Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a non-climate-controlled environment is necessary. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
