Lounge Bartender 34 North Restaurant at the Beaufort Hotel

The 34 North Restaurant located inside the Beaufort Hotel is currently seeking an experienced and outgoing Lounge Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for hotel guests and local visitors by providing exceptional service in a professional and upbeat environment. We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with guests, works efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in delivering quality beverages and hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and service standards
• Accept and complete drink orders from guests and servers in an organized and timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar throughout each shift
• Complete opening and closing duties including stocking, cleaning, and securing bar areas
• Follow all cash handling, check handling, and credit card procedures
• Ensure all alcohol service complies with company policies and applicable laws regarding identification and responsible alcohol service
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking beer, liquor, mixers, juices, and supplies
• Replenish ice stations, glassware, and bar products as needed
• Maintain a friendly, professional, and team-oriented atmosphere
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of floors, trash areas, and bar equipment
• Communicate effectively with restaurant staff and management to support smooth operations

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience required
• Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beer, wine, and liquor service
• Strong guest service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable attendance and positive attitude
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices

Compensation: Estimated range is between $25 - $35 per hour (includes base pay and tips)
