Your Responsibilities

• Conducting in-depth patient evaluations, ordering pertinent diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care plans
• Identifying and treating acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses in collaboration with fellow physicians or independently (per your credentials)
• Providing education to patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and proactive disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies in alignment with your scope of practice

Education and Credentials

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
