We are looking for a Pastry Cook who will work alongside 4 to 5 other team members in the department to produce cookies, cakes, quiche, croissants as well as other pastries and desserts for our bakery, our 6 retail locations and many wholesale customers. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is willing to learn, has attention to detail, and a focus for high quality. Students in culinary school are encouraged to apply. Is self-directed but willing to learn and ask for help as needed Good at receiving constructive feedback. Duties: Accurately scaling recipes Mixing, scooping and baking cookies, muffins, etc. Making mousse, fillings, frosting, etc. Assembling tarts, quiche, cakes, and other assorted pastries and desserts Shaping croissants and Danishes Baking all products as directed Communicating needs with co-workers and managers
