Compensation New wages: $39.80 – $43.65 per hour to start. Base wage $35.15 – $39.00 per hour based on years of certification. Hero pay: $3.40 per hour. Shift premium: $1.25 per hour for afternoon and midnight shifts (2nd and 3rd shift). Yearly wage increases. Sign‑on bonus: $5,000. About the Role Join our Lahser Hills Care Center team. Our registered nurses provide specialized care in orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology. You will assess needs, implement care, and work with a strong interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Perform a variety of treatments including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis. Administer medications as prescribed and advise patients and families about medication changes, treatment plans, and patient condition. Provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiological and psychosocial well‑being of patients. Oversee the nurse aide team: give direction, assign duties, provide training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations. Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with patients, families, and visitors, fostering a positive, healthy environment. Qualifications Current Michigan RN license and CPR‑BLS certification. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher. High analytical ability to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care, and develop solutions to complex patient issues. Excellent customer service skills and commitment to delivering passionate and innovative care.
