Project Manager

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading commercial interiors contractor that has built a strong reputation for delivering large-scale, high-profile interior construction projects across Virginia and the surrounding region. Due to continued growth and a healthy project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team based in Richmond, VA. You'll take ownership of projects from preconstruction through to completion, working alongside experienced industry professionals to deliver exceptional results for clients. Key Responsibilities Manage commercial interior construction projects from award through closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts. Coordinate with clients, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams. Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders. Manage procurement, subcontractor performance, and project documentation. Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Monitor project costs and ensure financial objectives are achieved. Identify and proactively resolve project risks and challenges. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Required 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction. Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale commercial interior fit-out or renovation projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration. Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
