General Manager

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a large, high-volume distribution facility supporting both ambient and freezer operations. This multi-shift site employs approximately 100 team members and plays a critical role in supporting key customer partnerships in a fast-paced environment.

The General Manager will have full ownership of site performance, financial results, and leadership development. This highly visible role requires strong operational leadership, disciplined execution, and the ability to align and motivate teams across a complex operation.


Key Responsibilities

• Full P&L ownership and accountability for safety, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, and cost control
• Lead and develop a multi-layer management team across operations and support functions
• Establish and maintain KPI-driven operating rhythms and accountability standards
• Optimize labor planning and resource utilization
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service, cost, and operational reliability
• Build strong partnerships with customers to ensure transparency and service excellence
• Uphold safety, compliance, and operational standards

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive warehouse or distribution leadership experience
• 5+ years in a site-level General Manager or equivalent role with P&L responsibility
• Experience leading large, multi-shift operations
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to use KPIs to drive decisions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in temperature-controlled or regulated distribution environments
• Background in change management, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies
